This
delightful show is a zany and exciting celebration of the
music of Burt Bacharach. Although Heather Moran, Gail Becker
and Marymonica Thomas are professional solo performers, their
unique arrangements and beautiful three part harmonies make
this show one that should not be missed.
SOME
SONGS INCLUDE: "Close To You", "I’ll Never
Fall In Love Again", "Walk On By", "One
Less Bell To Answer", "Alfie", and "Raindrops
Keep Falling On My Head".
Gail
Becker, Heather Moran, and MaryMonica Thomas bring their richly
flavored voices, versatility, and exquisite song stylings
to 3Girls3. This trio combines three part harmonies, stunning
solos, and dramatic duets to create a cabaret show unlike
any other. The girls take classic Burt Bacharach songs and
give them an extraordinary twist with fresh new arrangements,
many arranged by critically acclaimed Chicago and Off Broadway
composer and lyricist Jon Steinhagen. Steve Carson serves
as musical director for the show.
“3Girls3
is the most wonderful and refreshing female trio that I have
seen in long, long time. While each member has their distinctive
style, their voices blend together beautifully and each stand
on their own when doing solos.”

The
multi-dimensional talents of Liza Minnelli are brought to
life by acclaimed Chicago cabaret artist Heather Moran in
Shine it on: The Music of Liza Minnelli. In this groundbreaking
performance, Heather takes a fresh look at Liza's amazing
ability to develop characters and convey stories through song.
This show is exciting; fast paced, and features both Liza's
famous and not-so famous Broadway and film songs.
Like her mother Judy Garland, Minnelli became known as a song-and-dance
trouper of stage and screen; winning an Emmy, an Oscar and
two Tony Awards’s. In the 1980s and 1990s Minnelli was especially
known for her live revues, including shows with Frank Sinatra
and his latter-day Rat Pack.
Heather shows her deft ability to “…like Rosie (Clooney) get
to the kernel of a good tune…” The show includes over 20 songs
from stage and screen, some including “Colored Lights”, “Sara
Lee”, “A Quiet Thing”, “My Own Space” and “Ring Them Bells”.
The show is directed one of Chicago’s finest cabaret performers,
Daryl Nitz. The talented Bob Moreen serves as Musical Director.
